Kindergarten Kutie

So Big!

in her classroom...

So... my baby girl is growing up too fast! She started kindergarten this year. she only goes half day cause I could not handle the full day. Her Teacher's name is Mrs. Turley. she goes from 8:15 to 11:00 so we are having some trouble adjusting to the new early schedule. I asked her what her favorite part of the day was she said, "music time." and then I asked her what her least favorite part was and she quickly reponded, " all the work we have to do." to which I said , "you have no idea!" She had a heart breaking moment already... I guess they were told to sit on the rug so she went over and sat by another little girl. The girl moved up so Karlee followed. the the girl moved over and so did Karlee. The little girl then turned to her and said, "I don't want you to sit by me!" Karlee was heart broken and didn't know how to deal with it. she said she was able to hold in the tears, but she was very sad. so what do you say to that? I told her to give her another chance and she was probably just having a bad day. what I really wanted to say was I will talk to her mom and make her be nice. I know that she needs to learn for herself but I it is so hard to let her grow up. The next day the girls were best friends. I guess it truly starts here.
