Happy new year!

Jeff had some time off the week before the 1st so we decided to pack up the family and go up to Panguitch for some snow fun. We made sure they all had warm snow clothes and loaded up early Wednesday morning and drove all day so we could make it in time for the good ol' Panguitch New Years celebration at the rodeo arena. It was the first drive that we experienced the "are we there yet" fun. They seriously asked every 45 mins to an hour. We got there when it was dark so they were sad they couldn't play in the snow, but the New years party was a hit. there was 3 different bouncers, and a money pit that they could dig in to find money, dancing, food and hula hooping. they had a good time.

This is Grady's first time in a bouncer, and I could not get him out.

The first day we just played outside the house with the quads, car hood, sleds, and tubes. after they figured out that playing in the snow with out gloves was no fun, they had a blast. in fact they played for the most part of the day. This was Grady's first time in the snow and he didn't' love it , mainly because it was so bright.

The Second day we wanted to tube down the mountain so Uncle Norman took us up to Bryce Canyon and man was that fun. He knows a great hill for tubing. The kids were die hards they climbed the hill and came down so many times their little legs couldn't carry them up any more. Cole was so fun to watch. He got a little saucer type metal sled and he was spinning all over the place and his little body stuck in there like glue. it was quite a site to see. Karlee spent most of her time on the double sled with Hannah. Mom was very nice to keep Grady in the car where he was so happy. Jeff switched with her a little later so she could take a run down too. Me and Lisa found a fun new hill and decided to tackle it. It only took us about 10 mins to climb up in the unpacked deep snow up to our thighs, but man was it fun and my tail bone is hurting.

On our last day we had planned to just kinda relax, play in the front yard a little, and go to the indoor pool at 2:00. The kids were I think more excited to go swimming inside than playing in the snow. so we just kinda lounged all day and then got all ready to go....and the pool filter was broken - no swimming..... so.......
we made the kids take a picture in their swim stuff and...took a trip to the drug store!
Candy anyone?
Good reading....
awesome hot chocolate, and most important Great company. we had a really good time together. We sure love spending time with Lance and Lisa and kids. Our kids are really close in age so they have a really close relationship. all in all it was a really fun trip, maybe next time the pool will be open.
